Massage therapy here is thoughtful, assessment-based, and responsive. We take the time to understand how your body moves, listen closely to what you’re experiencing, and adapt treatment in real time. We provide intentional care based on what your body needs that day.

Our clients span every stage of life. Babies with sinus congestion or digestive upset. Children moving through growth spurts and stress. Students folded over laptops. New parents adjusting to bodies and lives that feel completely different than they did before. Driven professionals who have put their own discomfort on the back burner. People living with chronic pain, navigating illness, or recovering from it. Physical labourers who rely on their bodies as tools. First responders whose work demands constant readiness and resilience. Grandparents stepping back into caregiving roles. Older adults carrying decades of movement, responsibility, and life experience.

Wherever you are in your body or in your life, we meet you there.

Registered Massage Therapy includes assessment and hands-on treatment of muscles, connective tissue, and joints to reduce pain, tension, and movement restrictions. At the same time, we pay close attention to your nervous system. Treatment encourages deep, body-aware relaxation so your system can settle and guarding can decrease. You do not have to brace for effective work. Even focused, specific treatment can feel steady, safe, and restorative.

Our goal is simple: to help you feel supported in your body so you can show up fully for your life.

Sophie is a dedicated and passionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who graduated in 2017 from Victoria, BC’s West Coast College of Massage Therapy.

Her journey into massage therapy was inspired by a series of sports injuries and unexpected accidents she experienced over the years. These personal challenges gave Sophie a deep understanding of pain and recovery, as well as a unique ability to empathize with others.

Sophie’s motivation to pursue a career as an RMT was driven by her desire to better understand the musculoskeletal system, anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercise. Through her studies, she not only gained valuable skills to address her own aches and pains but also developed a strong commitment to helping others overcome their physical challenges.

Her preferred treatment style is a deep-tissue flow that incorporates both active and passive modalities. Sophie seamlessly blends advanced therapeutic techniques with the soothing rhythm of a Swedish massage, ensuring her clients experience a state of relaxation while also addressing specific issues. She focuses on reducing muscle guarding to enhance the effectiveness of deep pressure techniques. To minimize post-massage soreness, Sophie typically reserves time at the end of each session to flush and clear the areas she worked on, providing a smooth and non-abrupt conclusion to the treatment.

Because every client has unique needs, Sophie takes an adaptable approach to treatment, with a particular interest in the following areas: pre/post-natal care, stress management by decreasing sympathetic nervous system activity, rotator cuff injuries, hand and forearm strains/sprains, TMJ dysfunction, and concussion symptom management. She is an excellent communicator who enjoys solving puzzles, and is eager to determine the best approach to helping you feel your best.

Sophie strongly believes in the importance of relaxation during her treatments. In a world filled with distractions and busyness, she sees massage therapy as a rare opportunity for her clients to close their eyes, bring awareness to their bodies, and enjoy an environment optimized for comfort and minimal disruption.

A proud resident of British Columbia, Sophie has lived in Squamish, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island before relocating to the beautiful Okanagan Valley in early 2021.

Outside of her professional life, Sophie is deeply devoted to her family. She shares life’s adventures with her loving husband and their adorably rambunctious toddler, who takes his role as Chief Chaos Officer very seriously. Together, they plan to continue exploring all that Kelowna and the surrounding Interior of BC have to offer—from lakeside strolls to mountain hikes. Armed with plenty of coffee, a well-stocked bag of snacks and toy trains, and a go-with-the-flow attitude, they’re ready for whatever comes next.
